Susanne D. McCabe

Ms. McCabe is a member of the Florida Bar and the Volusia County Bar Association.  She began her law career in 2004 at the Fishback Law Firm in Orange County, Florida. Ms. McCabe is a trial attorney who practices in the areas of probate, estate planning, family law and general civil litigation. In addition, Ms. McCabe is a Title Agent for The Fund and handles all facets of real estate transactions from contract drafting to residential and commercial closings and Section 1032 exchanges. She is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.
By appointment of the Governor of the State of Florida, Ms. McCabe served as the Volusia County Commissioner on the Florida Inland Navigation District, whose primary mission is to manage and maintain the Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway. Ms. McCabe served on the FIND Board from 2013-2020.

Ms. McCabe is a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International and is a member of the Port Orange/South Daytona Chamber of Commerce. Ms. McCabe served on the Florida Bar’s Standing Committee for the Unlicensed Practice of Law, serving as its Chair in 2021-2022. In addition, Ms. McCabe served on the 7th Circuit for The Florida Bar Grievance Committee, serving as its Co-Chair in 2020.

Ms. McCabe is a resident of Port Orange, She is married to Bill McCabe, who is an agent with State Farm Insurance.  They have three children, two daughters and a son. Ms. McCabe’s daughter, Allison, is a lawyer and a partner in the McCabe Law Firm.
